We know more than 1.5 million people died of Tuberculosis in 2020 since an increase in the number of deaths from TB disease since 2015. Since 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic has occurred, resulting in a slowdown in diagnosis screening and treatment of people with active Tuberculosis. This condition will increase the number of TB cases during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Johannes Leimena Ambon’s central general hospital is concerned about the situation. The theme of World Tuberculosis Day 2022 is “Invest to End TB. Saving Lives'” it has conducted a webinar with “Young Generation of TB-Free Akademia” on Thursday, March 24, 2022

As keynote speakers are the President Director (Drg.Saraswati, MPH), the speaker (Dr.Vebiyanti Tentua, SpP and Norlyn Tamaela, AmD, Kep) with the moderator (Dr.Christika Aulya) with more than 125 audience participants. The webinar participants were very enthusiastic about asking questions, and there was an excellent discussion; this shows that this webinar is very eye-catching.

Hopefully, all webinar participants can socialize in their respective home environments to help reduce the number of cases of Tuberculosis and improve the community’s quality of life.

Lebih dari 1,5 juta penduduk meninggal karena penyakit tuberculosis pada tahun 2020 sejak peningkatan jumlah kematian karena penyakit TB sejak tahun 2015.

Sejak tahun 2020 pandemic Covid-19 berlangsung, mengakibatkan perlambatan screening diagnosis dan pengobatan terhadap orang dengan tuberculosis aktif. Kondisi ini akan menambah jumlah kasus TB dimasa pandemic Covid-19.

Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Johannes Leimena Ambon peduli akan kondisi tersebut. Dengan tema Hari Tuberkulosis Sedunia tahun 2022 adalah “Berinvestasi untuk Mengakhiri TB Menyelamatkan Nyawa’” telah melakukan kegiatan webinar dengan tema “Generasi Muda Akedemia Bebas TB” pada hari Kamis, 24 Maret 2022.

Sebagai keynote speaker adalah Direktur Utama (Drg.Saraswati,MPH), pembicara (Dr.Vebiyanti Tentua,SpP dan Norlyn Tamaela,AmD,Kep) dengan moderator (Dr.Christika Aulya) dengan peserta lebih dari 125 audien.

Para peserta webinar sangat antusias bertanya dan terjadi diskusi yang sangat baik, hal ini menunjukkan webinar ini sangat menarik perhatian.
